On December 11, 2020, at the Kosy Group office, the signing ceremony of a turbine supply contract and some other important contracts for the Kosy Bac Lieu wind power plant took place. Attending the signing ceremony of important contracts of the project, there were leaders of Kosy Group, Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Joint Stock Company, Goldwind International Renewable Company, IPC Group Joint Stock Company and Joint Stock Company. 1. Signed a contract to supply Goldwind turbine worth nearly 700 billion VND The contract to supply 9 full turbines for the project worth nearly 700 billion VND was signed between Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Joint Stock Company (a member of Kosy Group) and Goldwind International Renewable Company. Before signing the contract, the parties signed a reservation agreement in early October 2020. Immediately after the commencement ceremony of the project, Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Joint Stock Company advanced 15% of the contract value and Goldwind Company carried out production.

According to the plan, on May 20, 2021, Goldwind will deliver the first shipment including a full set of 4 turbines, June 15, 2021 as the second shipment with a full set of 5 turbines. At the Kosy Bac Lieu wind power project, Goldwind uses the latest 4.5 MW smart turbine line, suitable for wind conditions in the area. The wing diameter is 155m long, the tower is 130m high to increase power output. The Goldwind wind turbine provides the Kosy Bac Lieu wind power project using direct drive technology with permanent magnet, no gearbox. This technology reduces operating costs and increases power generation efficiency, reducing costs and operational maintenance risks.

2. Signing the contract of general contractor for the construction and installation of the Kosy Bac Lieu wind power project worth 850 billion VND

On the same day, the investor of Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Joint Stock Company signed a general contract of construction and installation project worth VND 850 billion with IPC Group Joint Stock Company. Before that, right after the project’s groundbreaking ceremony on October 3, 2020, the two sides signed a principle contract for IPC Group Joint Stock Company to embark on the construction of the road system in the project, the station, and pile and construction of turbine foundations …

Currently, the project has completed the site clearance work and continues to execute the work items. It is expected that the project will complete the installation and generation of 4 turbines before August 30, 2021 and the remaining 5 turbines by September 30, 2021. The Kosy Bac Lieu wind power plant will be completed, accepted and put into use before October 30, 2021.

In the framework of the signing ceremony, the investor – Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Joint Stock Company also witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation between the general contractor IPC and the unit transporting and installing turbines Dang Gia.
